New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison where the two leaders reviewed the rapid progress in India-Australia’s comprehensive strategic partnerships, including through the recent 2 + 2 dialogue.
Both leaders also exchanged perspectives on regional developments and upcoming quad meetings.

PM Modi will participate, along with the Australian Prime Minister, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga from the Japanese President and US President Joseph R Biden, in the Summit of the leader of the Quadrilateral framework in Washington on September 24.
During the discussion, leaders will discuss regional issues from shared interest and will also review the progress carried out since their first virtual summit held on March 12.
The latest developments in Afghanistan are also expected to stand out in deliberation.
