New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent 100 pairs of burlap footwear for those who work in Kashi Vishwanath Dham, at Lok Sabha Constitution Varanasi.
According to government sources, PM Modi has been involved in Kashi Vishwanath Dham and saves tabs on all problems and developments in Varanasi.
During his recent visit to the renovated launch of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, he recently found that most people work in the temple display their duties with naked legs because they are prohibited from wearing footwear made with skin or rubber in place.
These include priests, people who do SVA, security guards, sanitation workers and others.
The source said he immediately got 100 pairs of gunny footwear and sent to Kashi Vishwanath Dham so that those who did his job did not have to stay barefoot coldly.
“Needless to say, the people who work in Kashi Vishwanath Dham are very happy.
This is another example of PM’s attention to minute details and concern for the poor,” said an official.
Modi has also raised workers involved in renovating work and eating them during a recent visit to Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
