Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will land in Lucknow on Friday to attend the All-Indian DGP-IGP conference for three days for the next two days.
The 56th DGP conference – the first hosted by Uttar Pradesh and the first to be held at the police headquarters in any city – will start on Friday and will be inaugurated by the minister of the house of Amit Shah.
Brass State Intelligence consisting of National Security Advisors Ajit Doval, Head of the Intelligence Bureau Arvind Kumar and Research and Analysis of Samant Gelel’s head will also be present.
Doval will be the first to arrive at the beginning of Friday.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format with the state DGPS, the United States and Head of the Central Police forces armed and central police organizations present at the Venue in Lucknow, while other invitations joined through video conference facilities from 37 different locations in the Intelligence Bureau or the Headquarters of Intelligence Country.
Police sources said that sessions would be on the main security issues, including left-wing extremism, terrorism, cyberspace, ISIS, crimes against women, pandemics and challenges.
Each DG country will provide presentations at this time on certain topics and sessions will be held on the theme chosen by the intelligence agency.
News Minister Union Amit Shah will arrive at 1:30 a.m.
on Friday on Lucknow and head to the Central Reserve Police Headquarters (CRPF) in Sarojinagar, where he will install until Sunday.
After that, he will reach the DGP headquarters, also known as ‘Building Signature’, to inaugurate the conference and then overcome the meeting.
Then, he will receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi 8:45, accompanied by the Chairman of the Minister of Yogi Adityanath.
PM Modi will go to Raj Bhawan and on Saturday morning discuss the DGP conference in the ‘Building Signature’ and distribute medals to police officers and return to Raj Bhawan.
At night, he will return to the signatures for dinner with police officers along with the head of intelligence.
He will stay in Lucknow until the night of November 21.
The source said, the minister at home will also stay until Sunday at the CRPF headquarters in Sarojininagar.
All state guest houses in Lucknow were decked to stay in DGS and other officials who lived in the city for the conference.
Since 2014, the annual conference, which was once held in Delhi, has been held in various cities with the exception of 2020 when it is virtually held.
