New Delhi: Padma Shri Awardee and legendary Bengal Weaver Gifted Sari specifically for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Touched by his movements, Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought to Twitter and thanked him in a post.
He said, “Shri Biren Kumar Basak belongs to Nadia in West Bengal.” “He is a famous weaver, who describes various aspects of Indian history and culture in his side and he will greatly appreciate this gift,” he added.
Sari has a Prime Minister’s painting that discusses residents.
In the 1970s, Biren Kumar Basak used to go to the door to the door in Kolkata to sell Saris with his brother.
He began his journey with Rs 1 and now at least 5,000 weavers work for him.
