New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in a number of programs on August 28 through a video conference in Jallianwala Bagh historic in Amritsar from Punjab who went to the election early next year.
According to the official communique, PM Modi will dedicate a renovated complex from Jallianwala Bagh Smarak to the nation.
He will also inaugurate the museum gallery developed in Memorial.
This event will also showcase several development initiatives taken by the government to increase the complex.
It was on April 13, 1919 that a large crowd had gathered at Jallianwala Bagh to celebrate Baisakhi.
On the command Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer, British troops first closed the only gate to the park and fired a shot on unarmed and helpless people killing hundreds of them.
Some tried to escape by jumping into the well, which is now called Shahidi well.
As far as the initiative is concerned, four museum galleries have been created through reuse of adaptive buildings that are excessive and underutilized.
The gallery shows off historical values of events that take place in Punjab during that period, with a combination of audio-visual technology, including projection mapping and 3D representatives, and art installations and sculptures.
Voice and light shows were arranged to display events that occurred on April 13, 1919.
The press statement said several development initiatives had been carried out in the complex.
“Complex heritage restoration work has been carried out in sync with a local architectural style of Punjab.
Shaheedi has also been repaired and restored with a super-redefined structure.
Bagh’s heart, fire monument, has been repaired and restored; the body of the water has been rejuvenated as a lily pool; and the path It has been made wider for better navigability.
“It is said that some new and modern facilities have been added, including the path of the redefined movement with the appropriate signs; Illumination strategic spots; Landscaping and hardscaping with original plantations; and installation of audio nodes throughout the park.
“Also, new areas have been developed to accommodate safety land, Amar Jyot and flagpole,” he said.
The press statement also said the Cultural Minister of Union, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, the State Minister for Culture, Governor and Chair of the Minister of Punjab; Minister of Man Haryana, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh; All Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs from Punjab, and members of the National Warning Warning Jallianwala Bagh, among others, will be on that occasion.
