PM Modi to hold bilateral talks with President Joe Biden, another quad leader during our visit: MEA

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with quad leaders including US President Joe Biden and other foreign leaders during his visit later this month in addition to attending the first meeting in a quadrilateral security dialogue, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Thursday.
Prime Minister Modi visited the US next week.
“PM (Modi) will participate in the first quad leader summit in Washitton on September 24.
On September 25, he will overcome the UN General Assembly General Debate in the 76th session.
While PM was in Washington, he would also hold a bilateral meeting with President Biden, “said MEA spokesman Arindam Bagchi during the press direction.
“We also look forward to bilateral meetings with other quad leaders and bilateral meetings with several other leaders as he was in New York on September 25,” he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate, along with the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga from the Japanese President and US President Joseph R Biden, in the Summit of the leader of the Quadrilateral framework in Washington DC, USA, on September 24, 2021.
During the discussion, para Leaders will discuss regional problems owned by mutual interests and will also review progress made since their first virtual summit held on March 12, 2021.
Prime minister is scheduled to overcome the general debate from the high-level segment of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly (Unga) on September 25, 2021 in New York.
The theme for general debate this year is ‘building resilience through hope to recover from Covid-19, rebuilding on an ongoing basis, responding to the needs of this planet, respecting the rights of people, and revitalizing the United Nations’.
