New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the recipient of Rashtriya Bal Purascar on Monday through video conferencing.
Minister of Development of Women and Children of Smriti Zubin Irani and Minister of State Munjpara Mahendrabhai will be present on that occasion.
Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Purascar (PMRBP) is given as an acknowledgment of children aged between five and 18 years with extraordinary abilities and extraordinary achievements in six fields – innovation, scholastic achievement, art, social services, and courage.
Each recipient was given a medal, a cash prize of 1,00,000 Rs and a certificate, the WCD Ministry said in a statement.
During the function, the prime minister will provide a digital certificate to the winner of PMRBP-2022 using block chain technology.
The certificate will also be given to the winner of PMRBP-2021, which cannot be given a certificate last year due to the Covid-19 situation.
Block Chain Technology is used for the first time to provide a certificate to the recipient of the PMRBP.
This award was awarded by the President at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The Prime Minister also interacts with this recipient every year.
The recipient of the PMRBP also participated in the Republican Day Parade.
However, given the Covid-19 situation in this country, it is also unlikely to regulate the award ceremony in New Delhi this year.
On the occasion of the National Girl Day on Monday and as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, PM Modi will interact virtually with the winner of PMRBP-2022.
Children along with their parents and district judges from their respective districts will join the event from their district headquarters.
