PM Modi to virtually inaugurated the 25th National Youth Festival

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the 25-day National Youth Festival held by Puducherry on Wednesday.
This festival will begin on the occasion of National Youth Day on January 12 to celebrate Swami Vivekanand’s birthday.
The Secretary of the Youth of Usha Sharma Affairs said that this festival aims to form the mind of Indian youth and turn it into a force of United for the construction of the nation.
He said that this year, given the Covid-19 situation that appeared, this festival was scheduled to be virtually held.
The inauguration will be attended by the National Youth Summit which aims to pure, light up, unite and activate youth against the nation’s development, to release the true potential of our demographic dividends.
During the Summit, young people will get the opportunity to express their views on current issues such as environment, climate change, LED growth of SDG, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation, original wisdom and national wisdom, national development, among others.
“During the festival, the participants will see auroville glimpse, the experience of the immersive city of Puducherry, traditional sports games from all over the country and folk dances etc.
Other spotlops from this festival include live music performance, interactive yoga sessions by Auroville & Life Instructors” Sharma said in a statement.
Sharma also added that the national youth festival was one of the largest events of its kind and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs had celebrated it with the aim of providing a platform to bring common state youth in an effort to provide them the opportunity to show off their talents in various activities.
“The festival also provides an arena, by creating mini-Indians, where young people interact in formal and informal arrangements and exchange their social and cultural uniqueness.
The combination of the various milieu socio-culture creates Bharat Shrestha Bharat,” Secretary said.
