New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted Chartered Accountants (CAS) on Accountants Chartered and praised the community to play an important role in Indian progress.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “Greetings for all rental accountants on CA.
This community has an important role in India’s progress.
I called all CA to keep the focus on excellence so that Indian companies appeared as one of the best globally.” 1 July is celebrated as the National Chartered Accountant Day in India.
The day was observed to celebrate the establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountsants of India (ICAI) on July 1, 1949.
In particular, ICAI is the only license and supervisory body for financial audits and accounting professions in this country.
