PM Narendra Modi fulfilled Nepal PM in Glasgow; Discuss bilateral bonds, covid-19, climate change

Glasgow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met with his Nepalese colleagues Sher Bahadur Deuba for the first time after he became the Prime Minister of Himalaya in July.
Both discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral bonds that are closely and fight climate change, Covid-19 and facilitate post-pandemic recovery.
The meeting between PM Modi and Deuba, on the sidelines of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Glasgow, took place after the former launched an initiative for Tangguh Island countries (Iris) to develop infrastructure of small island countries.
“Recovery,” External Ministry spokesman (MEA) Arindam Bagchi said on Twitter.
It was their first involvement since Deuba, President of the Nepal Congress, became Prime Minister Nepal in July for the fifth time.
Prime Minister Modi has immediately congratulated Deuba after the veteran leader Nepal won the voice of confidence in the representative council that was restored in July.
Deuba has been grateful to Indian partners for congratulations and said he shared his views with him about further bonds between two neighboring countries during a friendly telephone conversation.
Bilateral bond under pressure under the former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli after India opened a very strategic way for 80 km which connected Lipulekh Pass with Dharchula in Uttarakhand on May 8, 2020.
In a separate bilateral meeting, the Prime Minister’s media also met Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and exchanged views on bilateral and regional development.

Exchange views on bilateral & regional developments.
Also appreciate cooperation during the Covid-19 pandemic, including recognizing the Covid-19 vaccination certificate,” Bagchi said in twitter.
