New Delhi: Paying tribute to the soldiers who made the highest sacrifice in the Cargil War, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said their courage “motivated us every day”.
On the 21-year anniversary of Cargil Vijay Diwas, which marked India’s victory over Pakistan in the war, PM Modi said the country remembered the sacrifices and courage of the soldiers.
He tweeted, “We remember their sacrifices.
We remember their courage.
Today, in the cargil vijay diwas we pay respect for all those who lose their lives in Cargil to protect our nation.
Their courage motivates us every day.”
