PM Narendra Modi to overcome the conference speaker assembly at Shimla on November 17

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually discuss all Indian-led conferences here on November 17, Himachal Pradesh Vipin Parmar assembly speaker told Wednesday.
The conference will be held from November 16 to 19, he said.
The first conference was held at Shimla 100 years ago in 1921 from September 14 to September 16, according to Parmar.
As many as six such conferences have been held at Shimla so far.
Four pre-independence was held in 1921, 1926, 1933, 1939 and two post-independence in 1976 and 1997, said the speaker.
On November 16, the 58th Conference of the Secretary of the State Assembly and the Board will be held, he said.
The presiding officer conference throughout India will be officially inaugurated on November 17 at 10 am and the prime minister will face it at 1:28 a.m., he added.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Prakash Birla, Deputy Chairperson of Rajya Sabha Harvansh Narayan Singh, Minister of Anurag Thakur, Governor of Himachal Pradesh Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will also attend the conference, he said.
Speakers, Vice Speakers, Primary Secretary, Secretary and Senior Officials 36 Assembly and State Council along with their partners will participate in the conference, he added.
MPS from Himachal Pradesh and Secretary General of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will also take part in the conference, he said.
As many as 378 officials, including 288 main officers, along with their partners will come to Shimla to take part in the conference held to discuss ways to strengthen democracy, he said.
Special settings have also been made for high-ranking officials to visit the famous places of Shimla, including the ridge, the point of the scandal, Temple of Jakhoo and River Bari, Kufri and Naldehra, he added.
