Pune: Head of NCP Sharad Pawar said Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted BJP and NCP to gather in the state to form a government in 2019 but he told PM it was impossible.
Reacting to Pawar’s comments, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, whose peace shared power with NCP and Congress, on Thursday claimed that after the 2019 poll, BJP was desperate to have anyone’s hands.
Raut said they were aware of who talked to who and, therefore, BJP didn’t work.
In Mumbai, NCP spokesman Nawab Malik said on Thursday said: “Pawar said at a public event in Pune on Wednesday that after the 2019 election, BJP insisted on the establishment of the government with NCP to provide a stable government.
This was followed by a high-level meeting of leaders NCP to consider the proposal.
Then, the pawar has submitted that such setting is not possible …
the proposal was dropped.
