LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson struggled for his political future Friday for anger installed after a late apology to attend a party during locking and as a new report emerged from the meeting of other heroes in his office.
Wahyu that Johnson and Downing Street staff violated restrictions on the peak of the Kuncur Coronavirus British had been angry with the public, which was forced to obey the rules that prevented them from visiting sick and died or attending funerals.
The scandal seemed to be set to deepen Friday as the Daily Telegraph that leaned the conservative warning service for the deceased husband was one of the starkest images from England under the lock.
Most of the cabinet members have rallied around Johnson after His Culpa Mea, but the support of potential successors such as the strong Minister of Finance Rishi Sunak has clearly lukewarm.
While expressing “sincere apology”, Johnson triggered ridicule this week by saying that he had believed in a May 20 meeting in Downing Road Park where more than 100 people gathered was a work event.
He urged all parties to wait for the findings of internal investigations.
Douglas Ross, a conservative leader in Scotland, has joined at least four members of the Tory backbench parliament in calling for Johnson to stop after the Prime Minister claimed to join the party.
“Regretfully, I have to say his position can no longer be maintained,” Ross told STV.
Jacob Rees-Mogg Cabinet members ignored Ross as Tory’s figure “light”, triggered mining from other lawmakers and warnings that the British crust for supporting the case of Scottish independence.
Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis has insisted Johnson has been “very, very sincere” in his apology, in the middle of a warning that conservative parliamentarians can mobilize for voting without trust.
– Partygate – But Lewis was forced to shrink the report that Johnson behind his house apologized to Ross and other Tories he did not believe that he had made a mistake.
On Wednesday, Kee Starmer labor leader for the first time joined other opposition leaders in demanding Johnson’s resignation.
The prime minister’s polling rating has slumped due to the accusation of “Partygate” appeared last month.
One of the new polls by Yougov at the time of the newspaper gave workers a 10-point advantage over Tories, his biggest margin since 2013, and said six of the 10 voters believed Johnson had to resign.
The London metropolitan police have not ruled out the criminal probe to the May 2020 party, which occurred when British citizens were prohibited from conducting outdoor socialization.
But for now, Johnson’s fate seems to be located in the hands of senior civil servants demanding Gray, which he has been aimed at seeing the May 2020 event and other year street meetings.
Chancellor of the Sunak Faithequer, which was significantly absent from the House of Commons on Wednesday, said Johnson was right to apologize and urge “patience” Gray report.
The potential of other competitors to replace Johnson, foreign secretary Liz Truss, also needed hours to issue public support, but then he stood “100 percent” behind the prime minister.
Johnson’s official spokesman insisted on the cabinet united in providing post-brexit and post-pandemic government priorities.
“Prime Minister lives with the principles of public offices,” he told reporters, stressed that Johnson had promised to publish Gray reports and then renew Parliament.
