Given the small costs, the government applies the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) where more than Rs 1.5 lakh Crore has been transferred in a bank account of more than 10 crore farmers, he added.
Annual financial benefits of RS 6,000 are given to families of beneficiaries who meet the requirements, paid in three four month installments of RS 2,000, below the scheme of PM-Kisan.
Apart from that, Modi said the luxury rail is operated to ensure farmers can carry out cheaper costs to various parts of the country.
Livestock produces like black rice, turmeric, chili, litchi is transported to various regions in this country, and even agricultural products are being exported, he added.
By stating that his dream was to make small farmers of the country’s pride, said Prime Minister, “In the coming years, we must increase the collective strength of the country’s small farmers.
They must be given new facilities.” During the Covid-19 period, Modi said, every time People have seen the power of technology and scientists.
“In each field, scientists work with sharpness.
Time has come in the agriculture sector as well, the efforts and advice of scientists involved.
We cannot wait anymore.
We must take full benefits …” he said.
This will not only help ensure food security but also increase the production of fruits, vegetables, and grains.
It will also help forward strongly at the global level, he added.
The Prime Minister also said that the government applied ‘Swamitva Yojana’, where land records were digitizing, helping farmers easily.
