New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued with his tradition to wear a colorful Safa (headgear) during his independence day speech to the nation in the red fortress in the national capital.
The choice of interesting PM headgear, starting from the sunny Jamnagar Pagdi, Turban Bandhani from Kutch to Safa Rajasthani, is something that has become a topic of the discussion in the past.
This year he chose to use what looked like Pheta Kolhapuri’s style turban with a long trace that extended until his ankle when he spoke to the nation on the 75th Independence Day in the country.
He paired Safa with blue Pastel powder half-sleeved blue kurta, which is widely known as ‘Modi Kurta’ and steals.
In 2014 in the first independence day speech he was wearing the turban bandhej red jodhpuri with a green trail.
Next year in 2015 it was a sapha yellow, while in 2016 it was a tunnel turban and dye with a pink hue.
In 2017 PM wearing a red and yellow turban, next year in 2018 he wears turmeric and red.
In 2019, Modi chose a crooked head cover which was dominated by yellow.
It has a little green and red along with a long trail that extends to his ankle.
He remained simple when he was wearing a long-sleeved white-sleeved kurta paired with his signature churidar.
Last year, he chose the main mixture of orange and the headgear of orange and yellow and kept the situation created by Covid-19, he added a scarf, like a white mask that has an orange border.
