Panaji: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday suggested the main ministers of BJP-ruled countries to take part in the Goa model from Swayampurna Goa, said Head of the Pramod Sawant Minister.
Modi led a meeting with the main ministers and deputy ministers ruled by BJP in Kashi, Uttar Pradesh, to share good governance practices from their respective countries.
Sawant also attended the meeting.
Sawant said that he was talking about the Swayampurna Goa scheme which was valued by the Prime Minister.
“During the meeting, I talked about the Swayampurna Goa Program, which was praised by Modi.
He has asked the main ministers who attended the meeting to follow the same model, even if they were a big country,” Sawant said.
Sawant said that there were no problems related to elections discussed.
“This discussion is the practice of the best governance applied by the state, the central government scheme that benefits the country, among others,” said the minister’s chief.
