‘PM took student-centric Measure into cancelling Class 12 Examinations’

Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyalsaid the Centre chose to cancel Class 12 Boards, keeping in mind security of pupils amid the outbreak.
In an email interview to TOI’sManash Gohain, he said that the ministry has undertaken many projects to keep continuity in schooling.
Excerpts from the interview: Why CBSE Class 12 Board examinations cancelled?We had two important issues while picking CBSE Class XII Board examinations — security and safety of our pupils and their livelihood.
CBSE will prepare Class XII effects through well-defined purpose criteria according to internal evaluation.
