PM wants a scholarship scheme for farmers’ children successfully implemented in Karnataka: Basavaraj Bommai

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the Karnataka government to implement a scheme of newly launched state education scholarships for farmers successfully so that it can be replicated throughout the country, said Minister Basavara S said on Thursday.
Bommai, who met the Prime Minister at Delhi, told reporters after the MODI PM meeting also appreciated the state of the state government to establish a panel to examine the government’s tender, giving a plot for homeless people and the implementation of new education policies.

Bommai said the prime minister “appreciates” the steps taken in the last 100 days, especially the scheme to provide educational scholarships to farmers’ children.
“He (PM Modi) asked the state to make this program successful because it would help replicate it in other countries,” he said.
In September, the state government came out with scholarship schemes for farmers’ children to pursue grade 11 and 12 and higher education.
Furthermore, Bommai said PM respected the state government to bring transparency in the public tender process and said it must be carried out in every government department.
While discussing in detail the implementation of new education policies in the state, PM Modi said there was a need to create awareness among teachers and students about new policies.
The Prime Minister also asked the state government to bring changes in the Amrut Scheme (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) to meet the needs at the Gram Panchayat level, said Bommai.
PM Modi further appreciate the state scheme to gave a plot to homeless people for home construction and suggest to implement it gradually at the level of gram of Panchayat.
The Prime Minister also advised the state to integrate this scheme with the Pradhan Mantri Beware of Yojana to overcome this challenge, added the minister’s chairman.
When told that the bank was not interested in providing loans to SC and St.
Women, PM Modi assured him that this direction would be given to the bank to empower a vulnerable woman in this section, said Bommai.
During the meeting, the minister’s chairman told the state government had plans to limit new policies on R & D, work, electric vehicles, renewable energy and aerospace.
Which, PM Modi said Karnataka has always been a developed country and asked the state government to be in front of these sectors, said Bommai, adding that the prime minister also emphasized the need to encourage R & D in less budget.

He is satisfied with the work done in 100 days.
He asked us to do good work with confidence,” Bommai added.
The minister’s chairman said PM Modi had approved Grace four programs to be held in the state in December.
On Wednesday, Bommai had met with the National President of BJP JP Nadda and Minister of Union Home Amit Shah.
