We aspire to receive the approval at the following two days.
Thereafter, we’ll give consent to the PMC to perform the work” Heavy rain at September 2019 had led to flooding of this nullah which caused significant damage to properties across the waterway, such as loss of all lives.
Sushmita Shirke, superintendent engineer of drainage cleansing department from the PMC, told TOI,”The PMC has created a budgetary provision for executing cleansing job of the whole Bhairoba nullah which originates from Katraj and escapes via PMC and PCB regions before merging with all the Mula-Mutha river in Koregaon Park.

“But, the job is going to be done on a war footing.
A enormous amount of garbage was dropped in the nullah during the past couple of months.
We’ll wash it by utilizing ground movers to keep the organic flow of the nullah.
Otherwise, it is going to end in flood in the neighboring localities,” Shirke additional.
