PMC is looking for RS 1.096CR from the government as GST, Cap SHARE

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has been looking for RS1,096 Crore from the state on the grounds that the number is part of the citizenship administration section in the revenue of GST additional costs and stamp duty.
The Standing Committee Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has sent a letter to the State Government after demand.
“This fund must be released earlier, so the Civic body can complete the delayed development work,” said Hemant Rasane, Chairman of the PMC Permanent Committee led by BJP.
The letter stated that RS272.32 Crore was caused in terms of additional costs from October 2019 to March 2021, while Rs 58.41 Crore was waiting from April 2021 to June 2021.
In addition, the letter stated that around RS193.11 Crore must be given to Civic’s body as a GST part.
Funds for RS736.2 Crore songs for the development of 11 villages joining PMC are also delayed, the letter said.
A PMC official said financial assistance from the country was one of the main sources of income and important aspects of the budget allocation.
NCP, which is part of Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA), claims that the country is awaiting funds from the BJP LED center.
“BJP leaders must follow up with their superiors.
State funds around RS1.25 Lakh Crore are caused by the center.
After this is paid, it will be easier for the state to clean PMC contributions,” said the legislator NCP Chetan Tupe.
In accordance with the PMC stand committee, RS8.370 Crore proposed for the city budget for the ongoing fiscal year.
The budget increased by RS720 Crore compared to the Budget Draft RS7,650-Crore which was presented in January this year.
Data shows that the Civic body has resulted around RS3,000 Crore from property tax and building permits in the past six months.
Civic’s body now hopes to get RS6,000 Crore from the city budget.
