PUNE: The PMC has declared a unique qualitative drive for students going abroad for research.
The driveway (that Covishield) will be stored in the civic-run Kamala Nehru Hospital every Tuesday and Wednesday on walk in basis.
Students won’t need to reserve appointments.
The pupils might need to create relevant records that reveal they are directed abroad for research.
Pune mayor Muralidhar Mohol stated,”The driveway was proposed considering a great number of pupils go overseas for research.
The driveway will be held two weeks between 10am to 5pm.
We might extend the sessions all the days of this week if need grows.
” The civic authority said it may ask the central and state authorities in the event the period between two doses could be reduced to students.
“We cannot introduce modifications at our own level.
We’ll approach the authorities in this respect to look for additional advice,” explained Rubal Agarwal, further municipal commissioner.
The Centre has expanded the gap between 2 Covishield jabs to 12 to 16 weeks.
City-based activist Sandeep Khardekar has composed a letter to PMC main Vikram Kumar requesting a driveway for pupils who are headed overseas and reduced period between shots.
