Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will begin Covid-19 vaccination for pregnant women from Tuesday.
The official of the Civic body said the beneficiaries in this group, along with those with disabilities, will be given priorities throughout the PMC site, including the option to register in place.
In Pimpri Chinchwad, PCMC officials said they would continue their drive for groups of 18-44 and 45-plus from 62 centers.
PCMC also set aside four special hubs for covaxin.
The source said PCMC would likely announce his plan for pregnant women on Tuesday.
Sanjay Deshmukh, Assistant Director (Medical), said “Training coach (TOT) was held on Monday for health staff from the centers who will autoculate pregnant women from Tuesday.
