Chennai: the leader of the PMK Youth Wing Anbumani Ramadoss on Saturday praised the Indian women’s hockey team for their appearance at the Tokyo Olympics and said even though they lost the game, they had won the hearts of people in the country.
“There is no tears, proud,” said PMK leader and noted that the party had announced the cash prize of Rs 10 Lakh to the Indian women’s hockey team.
He appreciated the hard work and dedication of the team, which rose to the Olympic semi-finals.
He said the team had struggled and overcome some difficulties to appear in the international arena.
