Pune: Daily Covid-19 Recovery continues to surpass fresh cases in the Metropolitan Pune region on Sunday.
A total of 1,100 people tested the virus positive on Sunday, pushing the progressive Kaseload region to 10.79,063.
At the same time, 1,152 patients were discarded, pushing the total recovery of the region to 10.50.916, according to the daily report issued by the District Health Office.
Eleven people surrendered in the area on Sunday – six at Pune Municipal Corporation limit, two in Pimpri Chinchwad, and three in a rustic bag.
It took the death toll PMR to 18,238.
A total of 20,762 samples were tested at PMR on Sunday.
With this, the level of peposititivity Sunday for the region reached 5.3%.
So far, 60.94,232 samples have been tested in PMR.
PMC tested 6,987 samples (a total of 28.39,685), Pimpri Chinchwad carried out 3,822 tests (15,74,096), rural parts carried out 9,199 tests (a total of 13,56,713), the city council contributed 704 tests (total of 2.33,793) and Cantonments testing 50 samples (total 45,945).
On Sundays, there were 9,909 active cases in PMR – 5,360 patients treated in hospitals, while 4,549 people voted for house isolation.
PMC recorded 250 new cases and 327 recovery, while Pimpri Chinchwad added 165 patients and reported 174 disposal.
As for all regions – rural belts contributed 626 cases and 580 recovery, the city council added 47 patients and recovery of 64, and Cantonment had 12 new cases and eight release.
In accordance with the data available with PMC, within its limits, 349 patients are treated with oxygen support, while health conditions 227 patients admit in various hospitals within its limits is very important.
