Pune: The number of Daily Covid-19 cases fell further to 1,034 in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Saturday.
In addition, 2,746 recovery here in the last 24 hours helped drop Caseload actively to 12,745.
On Friday, 1,363 people have been tested positively at PMR, while 1,653 cases were found on Thursday.
The Pimpri Chinchwad area added 218 cases on Saturday, while rural areas reported 281 detection.
Counting case of the PMC limit stood at 535.
Among the recovery, as many as 1,490 patients were declared cured in the PMC area, while 850 patients recovered within the Chinchwad Pimpri limit.
Daily deaths in the region fell to four, a month low, without death reported in the Pimpri Chinchwad area on Saturday.
Three deaths were recorded in PMC limits, while one patient died in rural areas.
For two consecutive days, the area has recorded death in one digit.
More than 15,000 tests were carried out in this region on Saturday.
With this, today’s position counselor for PMR fell to 7%.
More than 6,000 samples were examined in the Pimpri Chinchwad area, 5,400 within the PMC limit and 3,393 tests were carried out in the rural part.
Among active cases, as many as 11,589 were in isolation of houses in the region and 1,156 were treated in various hospitals.
So far, more than 14.43 cases of lakh have been recorded in PMR, while more than 14.11 lakh have recovered.
19,633 people have given up on Covid’s related complications in PMR so far.
