Pune: A total of 947 Covid-19 cases were recorded in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Friday due to 880 recovery, pushing the active case above 10,000.
In addition, eight people give up on infections in this region in the last 24 hours.
The PMC limit recorded five deaths due to infection, while rural areas reported two deaths and one patient died in the Pimpri Chinchwad area.
The total victims in this area now stand at 18,722.
Among the addition of Friday, the PMC limit added 244 patients, rural areas reported 544 cases, while Pimpri Chinchwad added 152 infections.
More than 25,000 samples were tested in this region on Friday.
The day’s front level for PMR stands at 3.7%.
The total active patient in this region increased to 10,042 on Friday.
