Pune: fresh Covid-19 cases fell to the lowest level of 20 days 718 in the Pune Metropolitan area on Monday against the recovery of 834, following fewer tests over the weekend.
According to reports released by Bhagwan Pawar District Health Officers, PMC and PCMC boundaries added less than 150 new patients on Monday.
Counting cases in rural areas also fell below 500 (437).
The report stated that 13,794 samples were tested in the region on Monday, which was less than 20,792 tests carried out on Sundays.
However, the calculation of sample testing in this area increased exceeding 61 lakh after adding Monday.
The rustic area and Cantonment checked 6,114 samples, while the PMC and PCMC limits were carried out by 4.595 and 3,085 each.
Active cases in this region continue to survive below 10,000.
On Monday, the calculation of active patients reached 9,783, including 4,566 patients in house isolation.
