Pune: The market in the Metropolitan Pune (PMR) area is full of lively buyers, many of them are in a striking violation of the Covid-19 norm.
But the official figure stands with contrast – in the last four weeks, Pune City and Pimpri Chinchwad companies together find less than 500 people who violate the rules.
In accordance with official data, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) was fined only 454 people because they did not wear masks or spit in public places, while only 41 people were punished within the city limits of Pimpri Chinchwad.
