Pune: The Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) recorded 1,101 cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, following large-scale testing which began in several hotspot villages in the Pune rural part.
In addition, a total of 1,027 recovery was recorded in the region in the last 24 hours, while 12 more patients gave up on infection.
Of the 1,101 infections, the rural part of Pune recorded a maximum of 695 cases.
19,560 people were played for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours due to 16,185 tests carried out the previous day.
With this, more than 10.87 cases of Lakh Covid-19 have been recorded in the region so far, while the total recovery is up above 10.60 lakh.
The total number of deaths has reached 18,348 in PMR, showing the Covid-19 daily report released by the district administration.
The number of active cases in the region reached 10,181 on Tuesday, including 6,614 patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals and the remaining 3,567 underwent treatment within their boundaries.
In accordance with PMC data, the city area has 351 patients who take care on the oxygen bed.
The PMC Daily Report stated that the number of critical patients received in hospitals in all civilian territories was 216.
