Pune: The number of people recovering from Covid-19 (1,406) exceeds new cases (960) for consecutive days in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Tuesday.
The rural and challenger area recorded 671 recovery as a new 555 case, while Pune’s city limits and Pimpri Chinchwad each recorded recovery of 304 and 431.
When it came to Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the PMC area and PCMC each recorded infection 216 and 189.
With this, the active Kaseeload in the region fell to 9,322 on Tuesday night, including 4,322 patients in house isolation and 5,004 underwent treatment in various hospitals.
Hitas positive regional cases have increased above 10.80 lakh, while the total release has reached 10.53 lakh.
A total of 17,947 tests were carried out in the region on Tuesday, where 8,194 samples were examined in rural areas and Cantonese, followed by the PMC (5,884) limit and PCMC area (3,869).
The total test now stands above 61.25 lakh.
A report released by Bhagwan Pawar District Health Officer stated that 11 more patients died of infection in the region on Tuesday, took the death toll in the region to 18,259.
Among the deaths in the last 24 hours, six people died within the PMC limit, while 4 surrendered in rural and Cantonese and one in the PCMC limit.
The level of peposititivity that day reached 5.35% in the region.
