Ludhiana: The Eastern Constitution has seen a very interesting contest among the candidates in the 2017 assembly poll, where the Congress Candidate Sanjay Talwar can succeed in sailing by defeating Daljit Grewal of AAP with a narrow margin of 1581 votes.
Even today, all constituencies are set for contests that are very considered as three candidates announced by the Congress, the Aadmi Aadmi Congress Party and Aam Aadmi is a recurring candidate.
However, the Bhartiya Janta Party has not received a call whether it will set its own candidate or give a new partner parallel, captain Amarinder Singh ‘Punjab Lok Congress, the opportunity to cover his candidate from here.
The Eastern Constitution, which is a city urban constituency, is the center of the industrial zone, especially the dyeing industry, but compared to it, infrastructure is poor.
In the past five years, the constituency community has ruoing about poor traffic management, the drain system chained, Buddha Nolah, waste chaos and air pollution.
This constituency always sees interesting elections like in the past even BJP won this chair three times and Akali Dal could win once.
The ruling party of MLA, Sanjay Talwar, has claimed to bring the development work worth Rs 4000 Crores for this constituency in the last five years in a booklet that was recently released planned by voters.
He claimed where his previous successors only talked about streets, sewerage, street lights etc., he brought government college, one club, leisure valley, amusement park etc.
for this area.
These claims have been strongly opposed by rival candidates, which maintain that development has been carried out only at the shallow level and only the development of cosmetics that occur also at the end of his term of office.
Daljit Grewal (Bhola) of AAP said, “In the last five years the Congress and before that the rules of the Akali Dal, there has been no change and people still cry for basic facilities.
The public faces a difficult time in getting a flat drinking water.” However, Candidate SAD Ranjit Dhillon said, “In the last five years, there have been things that have been done.
Basic infrastructure has not improved and it is still where I have left during my term.
People will not provide opportunities for those who just say lying to them.” Residents of Tajpur Road, Sunil Sharma, said, “During the rainy season, many areas were submerged because they were around the Buddha Nolah.
In addition, at Tajpur Road, the milk complex is located and sewerage remains choked like milk waste into the line.” Other residents of Chandigarh Road, Dr.
Premjit Singh, said, “All of our years have raised the problem of flooding in Chandigarh Road whether because of bulk HUJ An or choking dirt but no regional board members or MLA listen to us.
We did not listen to us hop to see a lot of changes, “he said even the park in the area was spoiled when waste waste water.
Singh claimed that when they could not get basic things in the past five years, then what else they expected from representatives was chosen .
