Pointhura Siraj died

Thiruvananthapuram: Deputy Chairperson of PDP Poonthura Siraj, 56, died at a private hospital here on Thursday.
He underwent treatment for cancer for some time.
He has served as Secretary General, Chairman of Work and Deputy Senior Deputy PDP.
He was elected as a member of the Trivandrum City Corporation council between 1995 and 2005.
He has represented PDP in the first two terms and then contested as an independent candidate in 2005.
During his tenure in the council also kept the distance from the two front fronts.
He survived his wife Suhana, the children of Mohammad Irfan, Lubaba Bathool, Fathima Afsan and Mashab.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 11 am in Poonthura Puthenpally Graveyard.
In the selection of local agencies recently, Inl initially announced it as a candidate for the selection of the company but then withdrawn.
