Coimbatore: POLLACHI MP K Shanmuga Sundaram has been written for the Minister of Railway Ashwini Vaishnaw looking for a train reservation counter in Valpayai.
About 110 km from the city of Coimbatore, Valpayai is a hill station on the hill Anamalai known as tourist attractions and tea areas.
In addition to the native of Valpaya, people from North India live there.
They must come all the way to Coimbatore or Polachi train station to order trains, said MP.
“Many guest workers, who are not familiar with online bookings, trips for a day to order train tickets.
Because no train connectivity in Valpaya, people must come to the Polachi or Coimbatore train station to take the train,” he said.
The request for the counter-ticket for booking train tickets is more than a decade and the South Railway must consider demand, which will benefit the large population, Sundaram added.
