Louisville: One person was detained after the shooting that killed two men in a busy restaurant in Kentucky on Thursday night, said the police on Friday.
According to the Metro Louisville Police Department, the 21-year-old Karson Reitz was arrested and was indicted by the murder of the shooting at the location of the Roosters restaurant in Preston Highway.
The statement from the scene showed the restaurant was well attended when the shooting was opened, a spokesman for the Police Department Alicia Smiley said.
According to Smiley, the arrest quote said that security recordings inside the restaurant showed Reitz shot both people, and that he acknowledged the shooting in a statement to a detective.
Smiley said no one else was injured.
Jefferson County Coroner’s office identified both of them killed in shooting when Michael Miller was 48 years old from Louisville, who died at the scene, and Bradley Cross 51 years old from Shepherdsville, who died in the hospital.
Investigation is underway.
The police have not said what they believe in that motive.
The restaurant is posted on Facebook that it will remain closed Friday and reopen Sunday.
