Coimbatore: Because the police station is not given the details of foreigners who live in their limits, officials from the country have been looking for the office of the Director General of Police (DGP) to take steps to complete the details to examine those who transcend or indulge themselves.
At present, foreigners must register their visit at E-FRRO (foreign regional registration officers) online portal.
As a previous system, foreigners need to register directly and get out of the country at the Foreign Registration Office (FROS)) located in the City Police Commissioner and the police supervisor office.
As this system is no longer there after the introduction of e-frro in 2019 by the immigration bureau, the police are in the dark about the presence of foreigners in Indonesia their limits.
