Nagpur: The police consciously arrested another official suspended from Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) in a fake scam contract.
It also discusses that the account and financial department faces a compulsory weekly audit, which will explore previous irregularities.
PI Senior police station conscious Vinod Chaudhari told toi, “NMC officers Rajesh Meshram had been ordered as four before.
He cleaned a fake contract bill,” he said.
Meshram is the most official after the main account and financial officer Vijay Kohle in the NMC department and the Ministry of Finance.
He is the first NMC officer who will be arrested in this case.
He was among the four suspended staff on December 15.
Also, the Department’s request (DE) has begun against it.
With meshram, total arrests to five five.
Padmakar’s contractor ‘Kolba’ Sakode, his nephew Atul, auditor Department of Account and Finance Mohammed AFAQUE AHMED, and senior officers of the General Administration Department (GAD) Mohan Padwanshi was arrested earlier.
Aware of the police have not arrested Sakode Susoda’s wife and Elder Brother Manohar.
They were ordered together with Sakode and Atul.
DE has also begun to fight Kohle and Assistant Commissioner Gad Mahesh Dhamecha.
NMC began opposing Dhamecha to share a user ID and password with Padwanshi, which misused it to approve the Bogus contract bill from the Sakode company.
The Committee continued to send a copy of the resolution that was continued at the meeting last day to the NMC committee department for its implementation.
