Chennai: City police on Thursday search for a three-star hotel where doctors appear for a professional linguistic exam board exam after messages through Interpol about a bomb threat letter from Afghanistan.
It turns out the trick.
An officer quoted the letter: “Revenge for England is not enough for Afghanistan, a bomb explosion will take place today in several places around the world.
The world needs a doctor now and we will ensure that England does not get it.
God willing, we will succeed”.
Police in cities where the PLAB exam was held including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Colombo were warned.
Chennai police examined three hotels but did not find anything suspicious.
