Mumbai: Bombay High Court on Saturday said his order that provided police protection to young couples who faced the threat of violence and death after the marriage between caste would continue until the order further.
Clarification by Judge Holiday Stools Shahrukh Kathawalla and Madhav Jamdar, are above the petition by a couple from Mumbai who are from Chaubari Village, Gujarat, Gujarat.
With the pretext of calming his family, the 22-year-old woman was taken to Chaubari and “married” to other people who attacked and tortured him.
He fled to Mumbai.
The judges were informed by the Prajakta Shinde prosecutor that six people, including the “husband” both, his brother, the female father, his brother, Sarpanch Village and the Head of the Community, was arrested immediately after Lodging FIR on Thursday.
On Friday, they were returned to police custody until November 17.
The Advocate Deepa Chawan for the couple said that FIR who advocated a woman at the Bachao police station in the second husband’s example.
The judges then said orders for November 5 of them who provided police protection also referred to that fir.
“The order passed by this court will continue until further orders,” Kathawalla justice said.
The judges posted hearing before the regular court on November 25.
