Coimbatore: Rural police have destroyed marijuana plants that grow in a dry water body in Pappampatti on the outskirts of the city on Saturday.
Based on the tip that cannabis plants were found in water, a police officer said, the sub-supervisor of Navanethakrishnan and RajendraPrasad police and Chief Chandru had examined the place in Pappampatti on Saturday.
“They found three marijuana plants in the area and one of them was almost 5 feet tall.
