Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Police has formed a ‘digital monitoring cell’ which will remain functional throughout the hour from Wednesday.
Sel, which already has around 31 police led by additional SP rating officers, now will have 15 special police, making it 46.
A senior officer said that the Digital Cell of the police had been strengthened to curb the invasion of crazy false information, inflammatory post and violations of the model behavior model.
All social media cells are active both at the district level, reach and zones have been ordered to maintain the obligation to the post that can damage the atmosphere during the election.
“Every time a post that is inappropriate is detected by cells, it will immediately warn the range and zonal police social media on charges, which will return to certain districts that must ensure that the action is taken.

Officers said that separate campaigns would be run by the police to spread awareness about the selection process and model of behavior models with slogans, posters, poems and tags on social media.
The twitter handle from the police up @UppviralCheck will also remain active to check false information.
Other senior officers at the DGP headquarters said that the C plan application was also operated by the DGP control room that worked under the Director General of Police, Law and Order, where 10 elites were each associated with their cellphone number.
“This will not only help in maintaining peace and order in the village but will also be proven to help deal with the threat of false information and also for the correct dissemination of information,” he said.
