Thiruvananthapuram: In the suspected suicide case, a police driver died in Aryancode on Tuesday after he allegedly consumed poison.
Shibu, 41, son of Kurishumutu and Agnus from Shibu Bhavan, AryanCode, was the deceased.
He was a police driver who was attached to armed reserve camps under the Rural District Police Thiruvananthapuram.
According to AryanCode Polda, Shibu allegedly consumed pesticides at around 11:30 a.m.
Even though he rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
Sources in the police said that Shibu was addicted to alcohol and even faced disciplinary actions in the past, including suspension, because of DereltionSi tasks.
He took a leave of assignment when he allegedly consumed poison.
Shibu left behind Shyni’s wife and two children.
