Varanasi: Receiving a police petition, a local court on Saturday ordered the custody of the police 7 days from Gang Solver Neet Pravin Kumar alias aka aka Nilesh for detailed investigations.
Police Commissioner Satish Ganesh said, “The police have transferred a request before the court to take PK at detention to interrogate their network.
The court receives a request and now the police will interrogate the PK to collect the details of the distribution of gang tissue and people in contact.” Pk , Patna-based Gang Gang Solvers was damaged during the Neet (UG) -2021 here on September 12, and the nearby Ajudan Ritesh was arrested by Sarnath police on Thursday a few hours after the cash prize announcement of Rs 1 lakh at him.
Both were sent to prison after being produced before the court on Friday.
Previously, other gang-gang members included Medico from Kgmu Osama Shahid, Abhay Kumar Mehta, Vikas Kumar Mahto from Khagadia, Raju Kumar at Bihar and the father of a Tapan Saha prospective from Tripura had been arrested by the police.
The arrest began after the gang was caught by the police with the arrest of July Kumari and his mother Babita Devi from Patna on September 12 from the center of the NEET exam at Sta Francis Xavier in the Sona Talab area in Varanasi in Varanasi.
During the police investigation it was revealed that 25 NEET 2021 candidates were associated with this gang and 16 of them had appeared in it in different centers while nine passed the exam.
The National Test Agency resisted the results of 15 candidates while Biswas was banned for two years since appearing in the exam.
