Police in T’Gana Tap Kin to make Maois give up

Hyderabad: In an effort to make Maois give up and join the mainstream, the police in the state approached their families.
With the example of Maoists who surrendered to Covid-19 lately, the police told the family that the surrender meant that Maoist would not only be given assistance and medical care but also rehabilitation.

In Dedra’s village in Adamanabad, the 75-year-old Anjana Bai Bai appealed to his 38-year-old daughter of Sumana to leave the forest and return home.
SP district M Rajesh Chandra, who visited Dedra and talked to the family, did not feel easy to convince the mother to appeal.
“If my mother has to appeal to me, I become her son will surely listen to it.
Likewise, your daughter too, I’m sure, will react positively to your appeal,” he told Anjana Bai.
The mother gave an unclear response to SP for one day but after the villagers explained to him in his dialect, what SP said, he appealed and asked his daughter to think positively to his request to give up.
Sumana aka Sakka has gone underground for the past 20 years.
Rakshitha Murthy, DCP, Malkajgiri zone within the boundary of the coming of Rachakonda, also visited two families, urging them to appeal similarly.
Accompanied by additional DCP, Kushaiguda, Shivakumar, DCP went to House of Alwal Chandrahas, an underground cadre of Maois, and spoke with his family, including his sister, Alwal Parvathi and Brother-in-law at their residence at the yapral residence in Manchal Mandal.
He also visited PalLepati Balaiiah (60) and Pallatepati Pochamma (55), the parents of PalLepati Radha, who were underground cadres from Maois.
The family is in Indiranagar Baru in Kapra Mandal from the Medchal District.
They are explained about the rehabilitation that will be given to Maois if they give up.
Muluugu Regency SP Sangram Singh Patil said the leadership of Maois and also cadres suffered Covid-19 and convinced them that if they surrendered, they would be given the right medical care.
