Jodhpur: The police damaged a group of Bogus Reet candidates and arrested 4 people here on Saturday, the day before the examination was scheduled on Sunday.
One of the accused is the owner of the Institute Training, which must appear as a doll candidate.
The police have also recovered cash, checks and false documents from these people.
DCP (East) Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav said the police were in high warnings considering unfair practices during the reeet and had watched people lose.
“We have a training institute at Paota Jodhpur with the name Meera Gurukul on our radar based on several intelligence inputs”, said Yadav.
The police special team began with gathering input on the institute’s operator activities and scan their cellular data.
The result is enough for action.
“Information gathered by us revealed that the Institute operator, Bhanwar Lal Bishnoi, has reached an agreement with a candidate to appear in the test of his name.
For this, candidates have agreed to pay for Rs 9 Lakh,” said Yadav.
Of the full amount, Rs 4.5 Lakh must be accepted by Bharwar Lal on Saturday as a down payment.
But the actions of the police timely thwart their efforts to implement the plan.
In addition, Bishnoi also prepares to leak paper and use some other unfair practices that he calls several candidates to his house.
“In this intelligence, we stormed Bishnois’s house on Saturday afternoon and arrested him along with the other 3, which included Ramesh Bishnii, Rawtaram JAT and Mohanlal Bishnoi.
All 3 is a reet candidate”, said Yadav.
The police also recovered several documents made from these candidates who cover Adhaar cards and recognize Ramesh cards with photos of Bhanwar Lal and Rs 4.5 lakh paid in advance to Bhanwarlal by Ramesh.
In addition, the police also recovered two checks each of Rs 5 Lakh from Rawtaram, which he had to submit to Bhanwarlal to arrange dummy candidates in place.
