Kanpur: Unnao District Administration at Uttar Pradesh stopped the installation of the Ratu Ratu Devi bandit statue on Saturday.
The statue was supported by the Vikasheel Insa (VIP) party to mark his death.
In the midst of the spread of heavy police, district administration and police officials seized the Phoolan Devi statue, which is now a rally point for Nishad clothing in the assembly process above.
