Noida: Noida Traffic Police on Wednesday issued advisors, prohibiting the entry of heavy and medium to Delhi goods categories, and suggest alternative routes for those who move elsewhere through a freeway.
Advisors came after high pollution levels in Delhi and NCR, because schools and colleges were closed until further orders and construction activities stopped except in several cases in the national capital.
Noida Traffic Police said the general public was told that in accordance with the instructions of the air quality management commission in NCR and adjoining areas, heavy and medium item vehicles (unless those carrying important items) issued until November 21 will be prohibited from entering Delhi.
The transfer of heavy and medium-sized vehicles from Chilla, DND, Kalindi Kunj, Ashok Nagar and Jhandupura bordering other places through Delhi have been changed.
“Vehicles of heavy and secondary goods to other places through Delhi from Yamuna Expressway will be able to go to their destination through the peripheral toll road from zero point through Pari Chowk,” said the traffic police.
“The heavy and medium item vehicles that go from Noida through the DND border through Delhi will be able to achieve their goals through a peripheral freeway by taking back rounds from the DND plaza,” he said.
According to the advisor, all such vehicles from Noida to Delhi through the Chilli border will be able to go to their destination through a peripheral route by taking U-Round on a red chili light.
All shipping vehicles like that from Noida to Delhi through Kalindi Kunj will be able to go to their destination through a peripheral freeway by taking back from the Gaushala roundabout at the end of The Mahamaya Flyover, it states.
“Heavy and medium cargo vehicles that take place from Noida to New Ashok Nagar to Delhi will be able to go to their destination with a peripheral barrier by taking back rounds of the new Ashok Nagar border,” Advisor said.
“The vehicle of heavy and medium items that goes from Noida to Jhandupura towards Delhi will be able to do a back round of the Jhandupura border to achieve their goals through the peripheral route,” he added.
Traffic police request commuters to use alternative routes to avoid discomfort and seek cooperation from all drivers to ensure the implementation of orders related to pollution control in NCR.
