VARANATION: A Lucknow Police Team attached a notification of property attachments at the House of Mafia Don-Turn-Politician Dhananjay Singh, an accused of Ajit Singh’s murder case which was recently declared Abson by the court before his wife Shrikala Reddy took an oath from the office of the Chairman of Zila Panchayat in Jaunpur on Monday.
Shrikala, however, is called police action Sunday night as ‘no serious’.
Dhananjay is desirable for alleged involvement as a conspirator in sensational murder History-Sheeter Ajit Singh in Lucknow on January 6 Police Lucknow also announced a cash prize of Rs 25,000.
On July 6, he was declared Abson by the CJM court, Lucknow.
In a follow-up action, the Vibhuti Khand police station reached Jaunpur on Sunday.
A Lucknow police team reached Dhananjay’s house in Bansafa Village under the boundaries of the Skirara Jaunpur police station on Sunday night and attached notification of attachments released below 82 CRPC (proclamation to escape) and returned.
The man in Khaki also completed the formality of ‘Munadi’ (announcement) that if Dhananjay did not give up at a certain time, the property would be confiscated, so Sikrara Ashwini Kumar Dubey told TII on Monday.
A few hours after the action, the wife of Dhananjay Shrikala Reddy was given an oath of the Chairman of Zila Panchayat by Judge Manish District Manish Kumar Verma at Jaunpur District Headquarters on Monday morning.
Apart from the newly elected ZP officials and members of ZP, BJP MLA from Dinesh Chaudhary, Apna Dal (Sonelal) MLA from Mariyahu Leeena Tiwari and MLC Brijesh Kumar Singh Prinsu present at the oath ceremony.
Shrikala has won as an independent candidate.
Asked about recurring police attacks at his residence since submitting a nomination in the ZP election and serving notifications for the confiscation of property before taking an oath by him, Shrikala said: “That happens because the opponent is always in trouble against Dhananjay.
There is no serious in it.”
