Ghaziabad: The 10-year-old Muslim boy was taken to the police station to be questioned after he “accidentally entered” Dasna Devi Temple in Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh.
In the video clip circulating on social media, Rev.
Yati Temple Narsingandan and Saraswati accused that the minors have been sent to love and in the boy’s community, there is a “trained killer” of his age.
Narsinghandan could be heard by accusing the boy standing next to him entering the temple place to do a “recipe” but confirmed that he was not “touched or slapped”.
The priest said that he wanted to tell the chairman of Yogi Adyityath Minister and all senior police officers that the conspiracy was hatching to kill him.
However, the boy told the police that he came to the area to visit his brother-in-law who was treated at the Community Health Center (CHC) adjacent to the temple.
He said that he accidentally entered the temple but was arrested by management and was handed over to the police.
After verifying the truth of the boy’s statement, he was allowed to leave, said the police.
The police supervisor (rustic) IRAJ King told PTI that the boy’s family had shifted here last year and he was not familiar with the area and therefore, entered the temple accidentally.
He also said that Dasna Devi’s temple management did not work with the police and denied personnel to do the drive and examine the identity card of the worshipers who came to the temple during the ongoing Navratri festival.
A strict examination was being carried out because of the past incident, said the king, added that 50 police were deployed to provide security to the priest.
Earlier this year, a Muslim boy was attacked after he entered the temple place to drink water.
On August 10, a saddle was attacked with a knife by an unknown attacker when he slept in a temple.
