Police Mumbai has recorded the statement of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Director Zonal Sameer Wankhede in connection with the alleged forgery of caste certificate on him, an official said on Thursday.
The assistant Commissioner police recorded Wankhede’s statement recently and ‘conducted further investigation’, he said.
Wankhede submitted a relevant document to ACP and recorded his statement in detail, officially added.

Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik has alleged that Wankhede’s father has converted to Islam, but Wankhede gets a government job with a caste quota scheduled for Muslims cannot obtain.
Wankhede and his father denied Malik’s claim.

Wankhede Dnyandev Wankhede’s father also filed a deficacy coat to the NCP leader.
On Monday, he even filed a complaint of the police against Malik under the scheduled castes and the scheduled tribes (prevention of cruelty) acted.

Malik flattened several charges against Sameer Wankhede after NCB arrested Arya Khan, actor Shah’s son Rukh Khan, and 19 others in the alleged case of drug confiscation last month.
